Regatta Lepa in Semporna, Sabah

Regatta Lepa is one of annual event in Sabah located in Semporna on April. This event is belong to Bajau, one of the races in Sabah. Every year, many tourist will come here to see by themselves about unique of this event. What is the unique?Well, it is about the boat display with variety of design by local citizen based on their creativity. But, the design must based on the race theme.

More unique is the boat design is like a traditional single-mast sailing and all is same. Means that the pattern of boats that join are same. It is just the color and design maybe a different a bit. Plus, mostly every boat will present their dancer, mostly a girl to present local dancing, Igal-Igal.
